[Coco] The Beta Test release of MShell

David, sorry, I didn't notice the "software hires" in his question. I was half asleep when I read it.
Personally, I think it would be fairly easy to make a version of joydrv for the software hires code. I've looked at the original joydrv and Nick's (actually Robert's) hires code and I feel it could be implemented.
I would give it a shot, but I have too much going on right now and don't have much time for Coco stuff. All my projects are on hold for a bit until things get back to normal (if there is such a thing).
As for MShell supporting it, in MShell, it would be automatic if that's the driver you were using. That's the beauty of OS9. But in reallity, There's no benifit in MShell for any hires mouse, software or hardware, as MShell's mouse is just selecting 8x8 blocks at the least (text character areas) and not pixel by pixel. If I ever get time to work on the graphics editor module again, the hires code would be useful.
