Ok I understand basic in beer that is solved thanks.   
Ok deskmate is on vccemudisk.vhd drive.I start vcc2.01I get the blue menu screen didn't change anything just hit 5 for nitros9
Time date shell no problem 
I type (dir -e>/p) and it dies create a image on my output folder
I then hit home button to change window to window 4. It's green black text it honk it's size 32. 
Then I type (cd apps)
Then I am at dd/apps
I then type (desk)
Deskmate pulls up
Now in the * menu I goto printer and keeps all setting and change only port. I change from /p to >/p
I then exit out of it goto a document in data 2. Open and file print 
It hangs. 
Now my folder in the * menu are as follows Folder 1   /d0Folder 2  /dd/desk dataFolder 3  /dd/apps/desk/cmdsFolder 4  /dd/apps/desk/cmds
Now since desk mate hangs I restart it goto the same window for desk mate window 4. And I type (dir -e>/p) and it does print create a file of directory
So I cd apps Desk and do the same as above and it hangs again
