That is correct. Should wire directly up with those and both caps removed.
If you want a green coco and have the coco's power supply thank you.... :)

Sorry I should have mentioned that, it's 8 chips, I know the sims with three chips do not work well with the CoCo3.  Thank you for your reply...  The gentleman who sold me the upgrade is sending me a replacement to try... Fingers crossed...
