[Coco] The ultimate VCC hard disk image using EmuDsk

I was curious, so I downloaded the ZIP file.

The txt file says type in DOS 255.

I started Vcc, mounted the image on HD0 and entered the above command.

I got ?SN error

This is my first venture into doing anything with Vcc and I basically guessed at the above steps.

Is there a guide that I can follow so that I won't be completely lost?

After DOS 255 works, what then? Any references to material that I read up on would be helpful.

Barry, thanks for putting this together. I have no clue what I am getting into, but am excited about it. :-)

Thanks!
Salvador

The latest version of this disk image is now available from
http://www.colorcomputerarchive.com/

The link directly to the page is
http://www.colorcomputerarchive.com/coco/Virtual%20Hard%20Drives/NitrOS-9%20L2%20V3.3.0/

This
hard disk image should work with either VCC or MESS. It boot using the EMUDisk
driver, and so does not require a DriveWire server to run. It will NOT boot on a
real CoCo, nor will it boot from DriveWire, however, it can be mounted as a
second disk and the programs can be run. If there is interest, I could make a
CoCo SDC and/or a Glenside IDE version.
