[Coco] Trying to boot nitros-9 in mess (linux)

I'd like to try if I can boot nitros-9 in mess, and then try to reproduce
it in my real coco hardware (coco2 so I should use level1). Ideally I'd
like to use nitros-9 with drivewire.
So far, I haven't been able to get nitros-9 running. I tried both with
coco2/3 rom, this way (for the coco3 rom):

mess -window -cfg_directory /home/matias/.coco/ -biospath /home/matias/roms
coco3 -flop1 nos96309l2v030300coco3_80d.dsk

when run DOS, within the emulated coco I just get an OK.
Am I missing something? Any help will be very appreciated.
