Good questions:

- I envision having the joysticks tested by having actual joysticks connected and moving the sticks around and firing the buttons.
- For the cassette port, a thorough test would be to have the cassette write out and read in data.
- For the serial port, a DriveWire test, of course :)

And yes, I envision this being a cartridge… that itself will test the cartridge port :)
