Stephen, I using sources to make "new" libraries, not fix old ones. So your 40mm cannon to kill a mouse technique is useless. A makefile is much simpler and more efficient.

Subject: [Coco] OS-9 Library generation

When I needed to fix the "core" routine in a library I split the library up,
fixed the "core" routine and put the library back together with "OS9GEN". (~
1990, OS-9 Level-I)

Why "OS9GEN"?

Because you can build a text file to tell
what OS9GEN needs to merge together. Just make sure that you have a floppy that
you have done a "COBBLER" to and then deleted OS9BOOT.

SHF

And the $64,000.00
question is "What was wrong with the 'core' routine"?
