Hi Steve,
Do you mean that you cannot go to the DTSS web site to download the simulator? It runs locally on your Windows machine.

I have not been able to get the Web Simulator to work at all. No matter what browser I try, the browser window goes blank and just sits there doing nothing. Anyone else having this issue?

The simulator stores programs in ASCII so you can create your program where ever you wish and however you wish. In the final analysis, it MUST be able to run entirely in the Dartmouth Time Sharing System Simulator to be contest worthy. A few people have and are working on programs. I'm glad to see you getting involved and taking this contest seriously. I hope more people will follow suit. Take care my friend.

It was all batch processed back then. It took a few revisions of BASIC before INPUT was introduced. That changes things a bit :P
