File -> Cassette -> Output Tape...

Give it a name ending in .cas to make it a data file, or .wav to make it an audio file you could load on the CoCo.

CSAVE"PROGRAM",A

Switch machine to the ECB version, then:

Ctrl-L (shortcut to load, disk or tape or rompak) and browse to the .cas file.

CLOAD

I started using Xroar with cassette, testing my old tape based BBS a year or so ago. The only tricky thing is it uses an input tape and an output tape, not mixing them. You'd mount an output, save to it, then mount the same file as input, and load from it. Juggling my program and data tapes took a few tries to figure out. THen I read the docs and it made sense.
