Chad & everyone, The side select encoding has been added to the HDBDOS repo. If bit 6 of the drive mask is set active, which would be in the case of double sided disk use, the side 1 is encoded in the track format buffer rather than side 0. So thank you William Astle for the help with the optimized code and location placement. :D
