You are describing the Side 1 problem that John found and fixed. (I thought so.)

But I found a message from 2005 giving the same method needed for John's Retrieve as you describe so maybe he did not fix it.

I remember that I needed to format disks on my CoCo not my PC.

And I remember needing to convert my 80T 2S OS-9 disks to two single sided disks. But then when I started using OS9 as it would handle both sides. But not bootable disks and the latest OS9 version was needed. (Toolshed was not invented at that time.)

I am glad that you are using Windows 98 SE on an old computer. I pity those using Windows 10, the only input is the New York cabby salute.

YES for sure, but the same for John's???
