[Coco] The COCO vs The Apple II

The Apple ][ wasn't primitive for loading DOS from disk. Actually, part of
Apple DOS *IS* on a ROM on the disk controller (I remember having to change
it when Apple upgraded their DOS to increase disk storage from 13 sectors
per track).

An Apple ][ was a 48k computer, while the Coco was 32k. You got more room
for programs in BASIC on an Apple than you did on a Coco.

Apples had DOS 3.3, ProDOS, CP/M with a Z-80 Card, UCSD P-System, GEOS, and
other operating systems.

There were ways the Apple ][ was superior to the Coco, and ways the Coco had
advantages.

I enjoy and own both systems.
