Every Web Browser has a User Agent String:

It that "string" is not manipulated, it will indicate which Browser and 
OS is accessing a given Web Site..

Use a site like, "W3 Counter" to get an Idea of Which Browser's and 
Which OS's are being used on the Internet..  W3 Counter has a claim of 
80,055 Web Sites for 30-NOV-2014.
