[Coco] lunar rover patrol

Anyone know if lunar rover patrol works on a coco3?  I found a 
patrol.cas, then tried a patrol.bin from disk.  Whether I have disk 
controller in or not, the game starts properly makes it all the way to 
where you would hit a key to start, then it crashes and shows either the 
extended basic banner.  I'm thinking maybe it's a coco3 thing?  If so, 
does a patched version exist?
