I picked up a few spares from Jameco a while back. I think I also got some spare 1372s and 6847s too

Subject: [Coco] Where to buy a 6809E ?

Hi all,

I would like to purchase a real 68B09E microprocessor as a spare.

I've heard that there are vendors out there who have mis-labeled stock (probably not their own fault, but...). Can anyone point me to a vendor who is known to have real 6809 chips? Are there any specific vendors to avoid?

I have an account at Jameco. They offer "pulls," as well as original chips. The original chip cost is only $4.95 so I was thinking of going with them.

I'd appreciate hearing your oipinions.

Thanks!
