[Coco] Mystery "FDC (EAGLE FORMAT)" Schematic on MaltedMedia FTP

I'm perusing this interesting schematic thinking at first it was a clone or
some other form of a floppy controller and then realized the designer had
also included interfacing for 40-pin IDE in addition to the 34-PIN Floppy!!

 

Who is the designer of this?  It appears the WD1773 controller was replaced
with a Intel 8207AA (http://www.buchty.net/casio/files/82077.pdf).  Would
this mean that standard HDBDOS ROM's or NitrOS9 stuff would be incompatible?
