I must be living in a different timeline to you guys.

I had Windows XP for 5 years, computer never crashed on me, getting
software to work was never a problem.

Then I had Windows 7 for almost 3 years, same there.

A year ago I switched to Windows 8. I loaded  Classic Shell from day
1 and never saw the Metro Tiles. I liked it and preferred it over
Windows 7. No problems at all.

Now I have upgraded to Windows 8.1 (Still using Classic Shell) and
it's even better.

I look forward to Windows 10 (I have the preview).

I read all these bad reports from people here about Windows and I
conclude that you guys must be in another timeline.

I'm not switching, I'm getting my work done just fine and the choice
of software and the hardware options are the biggest in the industry.

Nick
