James, it probably would be trivial to add a "No Joystick" option to VCC. To be honest, I thought there was one until I read your reply and checked myself. BTW, VCC DOES work with PC joysticks (self-centered).
I will look into this. I'm by no means a C++ coder, but I think I could handle that one.
I also need to get the release of the WinXP compatible version up for download. My problem is my computer is a Vista machine and VS C 2015 only runs on Win 7 or better. I have to use my wifes laptop to compile VCC and she's not easily convinced to give it up long enough for me to work on VCC LOL

> From: linville at tuxdriver.com> Keyboard works too -- space bar to start, arrows to move. SHIFT switches between coco and dragon keyboards, and ENTER changes between timing for 50hz and 60hz (PAL vs NTSC)...ahh.. sure enough! I did not realize that. Ok... w/ VCC it's little freaky in that if you have the joystick set to mouse and move the mouse off the window to use the keyboard only then the little guy wants to go only in that direction (w/ the caveat that sometimes it doesn't do that!). However, if you center the mouse on the window then you can play w/ the keyboard OK. But then you have the mouse pointer there sitting in the center of the window to contend with! LOL! VCC needs better Joystick options (ability to unplug them?)... -- Coco mailing listCoco at maltedmedia.comhttps://pairlist5.pair.net/mailman/listinfo/coco
