Anyone have suggestions on where we should host the "VCC Coco 3 Emulator Open Source Project"?
Source Forge is of course an option, but we're open to any suggestions.
Once we have a place to host it, we will start working on assembling a team for the work to be done on it.
The original sources will be available for download publicly, but the project itself will be similar to the NitrOS9 project requiring member access to commit changes to the project.
VCC 1.42 (Joseph's last release) is written in Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 (circa 95-98) so access to that software is needed to work with the sources. Hopefully, it can be converted to a more modern format to make cross compiling for multiple platforms possible.
We will also be posting the sources to Vcc 1.43c, which is the "altered" version of VCC which allows use of the Becker Port and Drivewire4. This version has yet to be released to public as testing was not finished. The change between 1.43b (previous Becker Port release) and 1.43c is that the Becker Port was moved out to a ".dll" (like the disk controller) as opposed to inline code as it was in 1.43b.
