I agree! 

The manual describes being fully compatible with the CoCo Disk Controller so from that side it seems like standard programming to access the disk images would work. Of course the Disk Basic has been extended so that's obviously where they magic is located. Hopefully, you can get the info to access at the level you need and not need to reverse engineer it. :)

But yes, a Sidekick for the CoCoSDC would be awesome!
