[Coco] "VideoPak" hardware question

OK - separating out my question from a previous thread...

Would it be possible, similar to how there were 80column cartridges, to make a "VGA Cartridge" for more advanced graphics?

I know there was a board for the A2 or 2GS named the SecondSight, which packed a VGA card onto an apple II expansion slot.

Is this doable for the CoCo with an MPI?

Hardware gurus?

Maybe we should start doing what other platforms have done, and initiated "bounty projects," where people come up with a project, and people
donate into it. Whoever gets it solved, gets the "bounty."

I know I'd kick into a VGAPak bounty without hesitation... I meant there's IDE, SCSI, Multi-I/O, Serial, Modem, 80 column paks, digitizer tablets, camera digitizers, X10, etc...

There's gotta be a way to get a VGA pak designed, with the processing of the VGA controller it should not hammer the 6(3|8)09 CPU, correct?

Found these Trident VGA ICs on eBay for $10/ea:
