[Coco] In need of a 1987 GIME

Hi Nick. I agree, the software is at fault. I really think these are either bad “cracks” or early versions of the games. Whatever they are, they work fine with an 87 GIME. Tested in multiple coco's with multiple GIME chips. Too bad too, as these are the only copies I know of, besides originals of course. I doubt there is any way to get original copies now.

I'm sure persistence plays a part but I would be inclined to find a more 
"intact" copy of the software. Looking at the font fault as well, I'd 
say there is something dodgy with your copy.

Diagnostic rule of thumb...

Try eliminate all the other inconsistency's and modifications before 
deriving to a conclusion.

He's running a standard CRT CM8 monitor, not a long persistent one. The 
likelihood of a faulty GIME is slim. But the software... that looks screwed.

Get another known working copy of the software and try again.
