That's just it, one should not have too and a maximized window does not compare nor is the same as running something full screen, not by any stretch of the imagination.

Vcc s not run well in ""full screen" since Windows Vista.
Just run it in windowed mode at "maximized" size and it will run fine. I use Vcc on WinVista about 4-6 hours a day and only have a few problems which are not "windows" related but more of "unfinished" Vcc problems mostly dealing with memory management and graphics handling. Joseph (Vcc author) stated this himself when he was still posting at Coco3.com. He said he hadn't quite finished the Gime emulation and with some intense uses, it may fail. The "average" Coco program will never see these problems. I only see them when playing around with low-level graphics and system calls in NitrOS9.

In my experience VCC does not work fine at all under Windows 7 or higher, full
screen causes the whole system to crash in fact.
