Highest I have seen was 55C in Qatar.  And it was close tot hat in
Djibouti, too.  Not as hard to take as people think.  But, I learned
one big thing.  Just because your in the desert doesn't mean it's
dry heat.  It was just as humid in Qatar along the coast as it was
in Djibouti.

Qatar was the only place I have ever been where you get in the hotel
hot tub to cool off. :-)
