Or another SALT.  Using an dual color led equipt usb-serial adapter right 
there at the coco3, instead of the nominally once a second keepalive, it 
was lit up brighter than a Christmas tree.

I didn't have any trouble with this until I put in the last one, 4.3.3o, 
and lost my z windows at the same time.  Any clues to check on that?
