I can definitely see how this helps. There have been numerous occasions 
where I've hit a brick wall trying to find either a way to solve a problem 
or find a particularly nasty bug. So I'll grab the ear of a colleague and 
start to explain the problem.

Then they'll either ask me a question or make a comment that will trigger 
that "duh" moment for me, or - more often than not - I'll stop mid-sentence 
because I've just realised the problem!

It's a very good tool to use!
