Exactly.

And on a Mac, there is no Scroll Lock so it's some other weird combination and when you ask or Google, everyone says use Scroll Lock. It's just some weird key sequence that I can never remember. I'd probably be fine if I just wrote the differences down on a Post-It(tm) note and stuck it on the monitor.

But yeah, that's what has kept me from using MESS. And don't even get me started with the Linux version of MAME on a Raspberry Pi and it's weird differences...
