The Disto SCII does, when set up correctly, permit typing during floppy disk I/O 
without losing characters. There are three driver versions in NitrOS-9, rb1773 
(standard with interrupts), rb1773_scii_ff74 (standard non-interrupt), and 
rb1773_scii_ff58 (moves the non-interrupt registers in case of conflict with ex. 
hard drive systems).
