That's true if the disk is single sided. For the Coco emulators, double sided 
disk images alternate tracks from what was the original disk's sides. So the 
front side tracks are all "even" and the back side tracks are all "odd" on the 
image.
That's why the kernel on a double sided OS-9 disk image is not where you might 
think it should be.
