Normally you do not need to replace the sleeve. All you need to do is pop the 
heat welds, spread the folds gently, and reseal the sleeve. That, for me, has 
been sufficient to remove the excess friction and permit the disk to spin normally.
Once you have caused heat damage to the surface of a disk, the content will 
probably be unusable. In your case, there likely is much more damage than just 
damaged CRC entries on files.
That being said, dEd can be used to correct CRC values on executable modules. 
That command is present on NitrOS-9 distribution disks.
