The only LED is blue - and it blinks a steady two flashes and a pause,  
indicating a good connection.

I have two other modules I'm going to try tonight. One of them I have at  
work with me, and it connects to the HC-05, but, I still have the same  
symptoms.I don't have a DriveWire cable here at work, so I can't test it  
on the CoCo, with a connection to my laptop...
