No, it's a switch currently set to M in the picture.

I zoomed the image. That is not a switch between the C and M. It looks to
me to be something like a rj-45 phone line connector receptacle. What would
someone use a RJ-45 for? Makes me wonder if C and M mean something else
besides Composite and Monochrome.
