My cheap Willem's has 12V select.  I should be good to go there.  Just need
to acquire one for testing.  Thanks!

The 2864 is a drop-in replacement for the 2764 and should work fine in a
cartridge. You may need a different programmer for the 2864 since (assuming
I'm remembering correctly) the 2764 needs 12v but the 2864 needs only 5v.
