[Coco] NitrOS-9 releases [Was: C compiler crashes VCC with Nitros9]

I have a tendacy to agree with Gene on that one. The repo download was at 3.2.8 when I started messing with it in 2010 and was dated as last built in 2008. But every thing I found elsewhere (various archives and personal downloads) was 3.2.9. I've been using one of those ever since until last week when I switched all my boots over to the current build. The "latest" downloads didn't change until David updated it last year. David's build was done with Toolshed (I think, he can verify) just before the source got moved to the lwtools branch. The code at that point was in transition from toolshed to lwtools and was not building correctly. David's build was 3.2.9. Again, not an official release, but the only one we had. That remained until Tormod did the new one with lwtools which seems better than most since the 2008 build. The repo itself is building better than it has in a loooong time. The latest cleanup has almost removed all the errors everyone was getting and everything I have the hardware to test is booting and running smooth as butter... so far.
All I can test is Coco 3 L2 dw, becker, & std floppy, Coco 1 L1 dw, std floppy, Coco 2 L1 dw, becker & std, floppy. As well as the games and apps, which all seem to be running good, though I haven't tested the Basic09 disk, I just tested the CC disk today (fine). I can't speak for the uucpbb as I haven't a clue what to do with it, and Multivue is good. I think I went through all the games that were being built and the ones I did go through all booted/ran fine.

As I said, best build since 2008 3.2.8 (and probably before)

My vote goes for 3.3.0 as a release when the final few edits are done. But who am I to say? I only use it and abuse it :-)

No, 3.2.9 should have been released in 2011, maybe about Jan 2012, then the
current sand box you and a few others, even me, have been sweeping up
valiantly should have been 3.2.10. And when its done and all the problems
solved, then its 3.3.0. The switch in assemblers to put it together needs
a large, obvious demarcation line.

Cheers, Gene
