FWIW, I used the 'os9' utility from Toolshed to get into the disk 
images.  I have found a few image files in that archive that do appear 
to be broken.  There were a couple that crashed the emulator so deep 
into the ground that the only way I could run it again was to uninstall 
and reinstall it.  Maybe I need to dig into those with a hex dump.

As for the ROM image, I'm sure I got it to work, once on an MS-Windows 
machine, and another time running under Wine on Ubuntu (10.04?).  I 
think the Windows computer has been disassembled, but the other one may 
still be a going concern.  I'll see what I can figure out.
