[Coco] Q regarding CDF/ic1 problem

I have contacted Chris at HawkSoft as this is his product. I have used CDF in the past with no problems. Guessing it is a NitrOS-9 issue.

Hi all,

I have been asked to investigate a problem that another Aussie (& dalby-ite) is having with his Super IDE and the CDF from Chris Hawks.

The SuperIDE has a CF card, which can be accesed properly using /DD.

The CDROM drive can be accessed properly using the /IC1 which was included in the OS9Boot file. The CDROM drive is slave. I assume that the CF is the master.

After accessing the CDROM, he can no longer access the CF card using /DD. He gets ERROR 253 - NON-SHARABLE DEVICE BUSY. It requires a re-boot to re-enable reads of the CF card.

Has anyone here come across this problem?
