Allen,

I know this probably won't be of much help, but as a guy "Just getting back" to the CoCo in the last 2 months, I consider myself a total New user again.  One of the first things I got was a "white" CoCo1 and was searching Google for ways to hook it up to a modern TV. Finding a few Composite Mods. A buddy of mine, who is helping with the projects, Put up a website (http://sparksandflames.com/g35.html) for me to keep a site with all the hardware mods in one place and he is now getting tons of hits on it.
Besides the hardware mods, I was searching all the info I could find on NitrOS 9 and OS 9, because that is what I want to do with my CoCo. I was also trying to find info from a Mac user angle. I just have an iMac, and I was Googling info on things like using CoCo tape with the iMac, - how I am going to get drivewire to work with an iMac etc.
As you can expect, I really have found nothing about it and have been doing things by "trial and error". I plan to shoot a small you-tube Video within the next week or so, documenting how I have done. What I found programs (games) actually works with CoCo tape and doesn't. I can't do anything with Drive wire yet, as I am still waiting for the Package from Mark (it's in the mail system).

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Also, I did notice that before my CoColounge website went dark (I hope to have it back up soon) that web ring was "hi-jacking" the page, it would bring the visitor to web ring and you would have to "Go Back" to the CoCo lounge. So when it goes back live again, I will have to download it off the server and remove the web ring links, as the actually Dreamweaver files are lost on CD backups somewhere (it was 6 years and 3 computers ago).

aslo please forgive the "Formating" of these responses as it looks good when I send it, but the list doesn't seem to play well with the new outlook.com crap that hotmail now is.

>Does anyone out there have a CoCo Wordpress or other blog that has statistics? I would be curious to see how people are finding your site. On my www.appleause.com site where I write about >Apple, Arduino, Halloween projectors, etc., I have been amazed at the daily hits I get from people looking up how to unstick an old 1998 Furby! When I discover something, I just post it there >so it can be found. I see hits for FireWire-SATA and various other pages I made.

>Someone with a CoCo blog might be able to give us some good insight on what "the other folks" are looking for when they look for CoCo.

>And I think it might be time to start something like the old web rings and banner exchanges. But, instead of rotating sites and ads, it would be a common thing every CoCo page could put on >their site, linking to one summary page somewhere of what was going on. I could see a page with current news (CoCoFest, new product announcements) following by links to major points of >interest in our community.

>I am just a bit surprised at how easy it is for me to find some obscure stuff when I look it up, but how difficult it is to find CoCo related things.
