Phillip,

Is the target drive a DSDD drive?

If SSDD then you will have to modify the scripts, as the boot probably won't fit.

HDB-DOS boot script will work, as it wants a SSDD 35T drive.

Easier to get a DSDD drive, IMHO.....

Subject: [Coco] NitrOS-9 boot from floppy issue

I just got my floppy drive working and I'm trying to make a boot disk.  I'm using the mb_floppy_d0 script provided with my SuperIDE card.  The floppy appears to build correctly, however, when I attempt to boot from it, this happens:

Appears to boot normally but gets to i2xoC and then accesses the floppy for a few more seconds then hangs..
It should go to the shell and run the startup at that point but is not.  Any ideas what might be happening or what to troubleshoot?

Thanks,

Philip
