1) It will neccesitate a multipak to have both the disk controller/disk 
basic cart and the video cart. A very inelegant design... but I say that 
as someone who has always detested the multipak interface.  :)

2) by offloading to a video cartridge for output, an option to double 
the clock speed can be had. The current problem in doubling the clock is 
that the GIME's video loses sync. A seperate video cart will not matter 
if it goes out of sync. If switching to the new video also switches in a 
4Mhz mode, then switching back could restore to 1.79Mhz.

Worth thinking about.

Maybe a non cartridge based solution? (external)
