[Coco] Might Be of interest.....

It was a monitor driver that plugged in the cartridge port/MPI.  The video 
driver chip was the 6845 which generated a 80 column by 24(?) display.  The 
second version had an input for a CoCo Video driver, so you did not have to 
boot up blind.
There is a software option under OS-9 Level 1 version 2 for generating 64 
column text, but the PBJ hardware option is crisper.
