Luis,

I go with Darren's analysis... Blown NMI on the CPU.IIRC the +12 is right next to one of these lines...POOOF on a skewed installed of cartridge port.

Regards,

Mark

Subject: [Coco] Coco 2b problem: reboots when accessing the disk

Hi,

I have this coco2b and when doing a DIR  with a FD500 it reboots with
garbled screen. If the drive is not connected it returns I/O Error.

This problem doesn't happen with the superIDE. I measured the voltage (with
a multimeter) and I didn't see any voltage drop (+5v).

I replaced some caps, the main ones and the problem persists. I will buy
the other ones. What else could it be ? It was working before, it started 1
month ago.

the FD500 works fine with my coco3.
