Welcome back Christopher!
We've probably had more to come back to the Coco this year than any. Seems to be an "I'm getting older and have nothing I'd rather do" thing.
I hope you still have all your gear, sounds like a nice setup :-)

Subject: [Coco] De-lurk!

Greetings, fellow CoCo-heads!

I¹m de-lurking, after following the list for a few weeks now.

My first computer was a CoCo 1 (32K?), given to me and my brother by our
parents back in the very early '80s. I was maybe 7 or 8 years old at the
time. Fell in love with the thing, programming in BASIC, and dialing up
BBSes in the Richmond, Virginia area. Upgraded to a 64K CoCo 2 with floppy
drives, then finally, a 512K CoCo 3 with MPI, Deluxe RS-232, dual
floppies, CM-8, etc., running OS-9 Lvl II. I remember how amazed my
friends were when I showed them OS-9 windowing, and my RS DT-1 terminal
hooked up from another room to the RS-232 pak.

Anyway, I'm getting back into retro-computing after a very long hiatus.
I'm learning much, and I'm amazed at the incredible work done by a
passionate few to keep this hobby alive. DriveWire blows my mind! :-)

Thanks for such a passionate and informative community.
