Read the file headers of the shellplus.asm (current 2.2a) src in 
level1/cmds of the repo, its been worked on as recently as 2010.  And one 
of the fixes kinda barks like a problem I'm having because I have not 
rebuilt my "shell" package with its merged into a 7k block of utils in a 
decade, hence I'm out of date on my own machine.

I am also amazed that it has not been ifdef'd to use some 6309 stuffs here 
& there, I think there is some speedup capability in there yet.
