Christopher, The "Shell_21" IS on the distro disks in the CMDS dir (just checked latest distro) and is labeled as such (though not used). Shell 2.1 is NOT the standard MW shell from the original OS-9. It was a mod fone in 1988 by Ron Lammardo of the the first Shell+. Oddly, the MW shell is not included in the distro. It may not even work with NitrOS-9 ???
And yes... the "Shell" included (and used) with the distro is Shell 2.2a which was a fix by L. Curtis Boyle to Shell+ 2.2 in 1994. (correct me if I'm wrong Curtis, just going by your docs :-)

This is all according to the Shell 2.1 and 2.2a docs from their archives (which I just got through reading both).
