the Coco chip with a personalized EPROM.

In the drive controller, Bill.  Even if it is Extended ADOS-3 in a 16K
EPROM. (I briefly considered whether Extended ADOS-3 could be written to go
in the internal ROM socket inside the CoCo, but that ROM is soldered in,
which knocked out the idea immediately.)
