[Coco] OT: situational improvement

Thanks for all the responses. I searched after making that post. I found
cat-5e for about $7 for 50 ft at all electronics (about a mile from me). I
found the connectors at fry's electronics for as low as $1.19 each. I think
I'm going to go for the connectors first, and if I have problems then I'll
get a longer cable.
