[Coco] Diskette Flipping Question

Apple 2 machines and C-64 use GCR encoding on floppies.  GCR is a 
self-clocking format that does not rely on the index pulse.  Indeed, I 
recall using hard-sectored diskettes on my Apple (10 index holes!) without 
problems.
