Yep, we just finished (I think...) a big discussion about hooking
model 100's together via the cassette ports...  I pointed out the
design from Rainbow magazine but I'm told it won't work with the
M100's analog side. :-(

Not that the tape formats themselves are compatible, but the
computer-external hardware is the same for all of them. (The Model
III/4 came with a program to read Model 100 tapes, but I've never
tried it -- my 4P is the only one of the series to lack a cassette
port!)

Also, I've been told that the original IBM PC's cassette port used the
same cable, but I've never tried that either.
