There *is* a Mac version of the DriveWire 3 client, is has always been
available for download right next to the Windows download.
As mentioned before, the DW4 client has also always supported Macs.
No need to use a Linux version on the Mac (unless you just wanted to,
but it would be more work than simply downloading the Mac version in
the first place).

One has to wonder where do these ideas come from? Maybe because a
similar product is Windows only?

DW has always supported Win, Lin and Mac, and now supports even more platforms.
