No, I didn't go anywhere and set anything to anything. It's just like it

 I was doing this myself a few weeks ago. You probably want HDBDOS mode set
to "true" so that virtual drives 0-3 act like floppys that you can copy
files between. I mount dsk files in drives 4 and 5 so that I can copy
between DW and real floppies as well. The documentation explains it clearly.
